This painting was inspired by a photograph I took while riding on a bus. The scene is not actually what I saw, but it made me think of the roadside wildflowers we see. I often wonder how they arrived at that location... by a bird dropping, wind taking seeds from flowers, or did someone plant them. I always tend to make up a story to go along with my paintings. And, this one was a farm able to be seen through all the roadside bushes and flowers!
