There were no leaves on most of the trees when we visited this area of North Georgia with my cousin and his wife. But I am always intrigued by those little trees growing under the canopy of leafless trees we see holding onto light golden wispy leaves... I think they are a kind of “Beech” tree. Almost everything we saw was some shade of gold that day. It was a wonderful day traipsing around this mountain, the stream and lots of rocks.
