Mystery Marsh

This was painted on location (plein air) at Shem Creek near Charleston, SC during a paint out with the American Impressionist Society. The marsh is always so colorful early in the morning and lends a sense of mystery to the scene. There were many of the artists that had been accepted into this prestigious show that were painting here. We had much fun each choosing our location. It was great to see each choice of subject matter and their interpretation. I felt privileged to be in the show, and then painting with some of the top artists in the Country.
