Signed oil on canvas painting of a woman in silent contemplation. The canvas is square and painted in earthy natural tones of ochres (close to gold) warm darks and vibrant reds.

One of my favourite past times is simply sitting and people watching. This painting is a direct result of that power of observation as I met the model in a local coffee shop in Falkirk. She was simply sitting there having coffee with a friend when I spotted her. I asked if she would like to model for me and gave her my card. This artwork is the result of that chance meeting.
It is my firm belief people from everyday walks of life, doing everyday things make for a great narrative on canvas. Simply put- I find people fascinating... so don't be surprised if one day ... by chance we meet and I ask you to model for me.

All my work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. I paint with sincerity and I am always humbled when my work is purchased or admired.
