Reflecting on the Earth as a living, sensing body, this work draws inspiration from the aesthetics of medical imaging and the layered textures of terrain. The painting serves as a palimpsest of environmental memory, marked by time, touch, and transformation. It invites the viewer to contemplate how we record and interpret the planet’s subtle signals, and how our presence leaves lasting, albeit fragmentary, traces.
