‘Blurred Topographies’ refers to a concept in art and science where spatial, geographical or bodily landscapes are depicted with soft, indistinct, or abstract features. This is a recurring form in my work, in which I blur the boundaries between internal and external worlds to create a soft-focus mapping of the painting’s terrain.
