This piece started as a color contrast exercise combining opposite colors and using the repetition of the "club" element to create a pop look. However, it ended as a self-portrait. It's not my favorite painting, but I like the fashion statement that shows.
The style is strong, as the masculine softly meets femenine. Traditional manly suits are not for men anymore, blurring the rules of gendered dressing.
