I often painted at the Qal'at Al-Bahrain (Bahrain Fort) Site Museum in the shadow of the fort. Ironically, this spot on the northern coast of the island of Bahrain was rare in providing access to the sea for the public. Urban development and land reclamation made it a challenge to enjoy the surrounding Arabian Sea (Persian Gulf). See:
