Soft Data Breach is a large painting on unprimed linen where color and removal are doing the same amount of work. Layers of acrylic and UV-reactive pigment are partially washed back with a pressure sprayer, exposing the raw canvas and leaving pale brown tracings. Over that, I added loose, child-like pen and marker lines in one corner, especially around the white form. The result sits between abstract field, erased image, and sketchbook margin. Ready to hang.
This piece marks a one-off experiment with raw linen, water pressure, and drawing on top of erasure. It was painted before the blue-field works and the dual painting, and it hasn’t grown into a full series yet. The exposed canvas, squiggled lines, and UV details give it a more intimate, slightly chaotic energy compared to the more structured blue and neon canvases.
