Living Water, similarly to Seeking Still Water, uses an energetic flow to express the tempestuous tides of intense emotion, ebbing and flowing and dashing itself against any barriers or walls, undeniable and uncontrollable. Grief will have its way and I found my accepting its pummeling as a natural part of the process made it possible to continue; crying, screaming, throwing paint, whatever it took to expel the demon. Allowing grief to flow through us allows it to slowly loose its momentum. It is still there but it no longer has the power to knock us on our butt, at least not as often. I also found using golden yellows in the background felt like hope - a comforting ambiance that was warm and permanent.
