I've spent most of my life walking local beaches searching for interesting rocks and other treasures. All these monotypes are based on actual rocks collected while visiting Whidbey Island, WA. This is a series I started as a 100-day project in 2025, but have since continued. 

Mixed media collages made from my own gel printed papers, arranged in stacks of rocks, fish, and/or abstract shapes. The imagery behind the work is often related to my love of the beach, but the composition represents the mental load of motherhood.
