Poppies in the field. These happy little poppies were growing along the sidewalk at the Carlsbad Flower Fields. I had to crawl over a bench to get nestled in among them enough to photograph them, and I could almost feel them posing for me. Looking at this painting, a friend told me he now knows what it feels like to be a bee flitting among flower blossoms. I love that!
