This abstracted mask is part of my conservation series and was influenced by a mask from India. The subject is reflective of global warming and need to feed the world. The ongoing drought in many parts of the world shows there is such a need to share the wealth of food which is represented in the elements of vegetation surrounding the mask. This painting spent from 2020 to 2021 on tour in India and into June. The pandemic affected the exhibition as India experienced the worst of it.
