Ein Foto das im ersten Augenblick eine unglaubliche Ruhe ausstrahlt.
Sofort wird klar, dass es die Schatten sind, die die Form und damit das Bild zeichnen.
Ein Foto das seinen Reiz insbesondere durch das Filmkorn erhält. Sobald einem aber der Gedanke an das Filmkorn und der damit verbundene Spielraum in der Gestaltung in den Sinn kommt, beginnt sich das Bild zu entziehen. Ein Foto das in verschiedensten Körnungen und Schattenausprägungen wirkt und immer doch nur eine Kombination darstellen kann. An diesem Bild kann ich mich abarbeiten und es wird doch nie fertig.

It immediately becomes clear that it is the shadows that draw the form and thus the image.
A photo that gets its charm especially from the film grain. But as soon as the thought of the film grain and the associated scope in the design comes to mind, the picture begins to elude you. A photo that appears in a wide variety of grains and shadows and yet can only ever represent one combination. I can work on this picture and it will never be finished.
