White Place is a residential historic district in my hometown of Bloomington, Illinois. One day I was out take pictures of White Place in the spring, when a neighbor came out and shared how the best time to view White Place is in the winter. So the next winter after a big snowfall, I went out and took some reference photos. He was right, White Place is just magical in the winter. I tried to capture some of that magic in this acrylic painting.
