Growing up on the south coast was all about the beach. Walking down Ramsay Street, past Cuttings Bakery, and down the mud steps at Christies was a weekly ritual. The summers seemed so hot, long and dry back then. We gathered in our groups and tried to play it cool in front of the boys. The juxtapose of youth’s beauty and awkwardness.
