There is nothing I enjoy more than going out for a walk in the woods. This is especially wonderful during spring when the bluebells are out in full force. This painting was inspired by a visit to an area in Virginia. The weather promised to be beautiful when I headed out for a 45 minute drive to find this location. When I found the place, I realized it was a wildlife area that was set aside for hunters. I thought that perhaps I should turn around, not wishing to interrupt any hunting that may be taking place in the area, but I pressed on, and was rewarded with beauty.
