This Dartmoor windswept tree is one from a small serries of drypoint prints in sepia ink on soft creamy Hahnemühle etching paper.
This image was designed to demonstrate a range of drypoint mark-making for my students. In addition to traditionsl drypoint needles I have made much use of sandpaper shading and power-tools. The windswept nature of Dartmoor trees allows for some energetic, buzzy power tool marks.
Started as a demonstration, this image went down so well, I have now editioned it as an edition of 10 prints in sepia ink on soft creamy Hahnemühle etching paper.
