Barn 3 is a unique composite print.
The composition is composed of a small collagraph plate printed with a small drypoint pate accompanied with a flourish of grass.

The background scene is a collagraph of an old Devon barn. A collagraph is a print taken from an inked up collage of textures printed through an etching press onto damp paper under great pressure.
The Barn Owl is a drypoint, also printed like an etching. While the owl was being printed over the collagraph print of the barn I also included some inky strands of real grass. The grass comes out differently for each print I created in this selection of prints. (2 of which are currently available in me Etsy shop).

All printed with stable oil based ink on quality cotton paper.
