I went out end of April 2021 and painted from the back of my car, on this painting. My dog Maggie came out with me that day and was such a great companion. She just sat up in the front seat looking out, very content. I returned about a year and 6 days later and did another painting on the same site...but sans Maggie as she had passed in September 2021. It was sad, but also brought feelings of her being close by my side. I then took last years painting, this one and fine tuned it after refreshing my memory with the painting I did this year.
