Northern Wisconsin Farm

I smile at this painting every time I see it!! My artist sister and I were standing in a corn field, painting when we should of been at the breakfast table on the farm with our other sister. Oops, we lost track of time. Thank goodness the farm sister is understanding of her artistic time challenged sisters! This was painted up near Thorp Wisconsin. Most of it was painted on site. Three Mennonite children trotted by in their cart pulled by a shetland pony, looking over their shoulders at us. Now I need to paint that image!
