The beginning of 2020 in Australia had us see the loss of over 1 Billion native animals in over three states.

From the Ashes-Wombat one of 6 different artworks I have created are a representation of the loss and devastation but also showing new growth and hope for a regenerative life giving future.

In time the survivors from the fires will rise ‘From the Ashes’.
I have decided to paint the native Australian wildlife in ash colour tones to represent the bleak burnt ground that is left behind long after the fires have passed, with the addition of a splash of colourful sprouting flora representing new beginnings and butterfly, that represents new life & transformation.
