I was enchanted by the Minerva Hills that rise sharply to overlook Springsure. Vertical striations are in sharp contrast to the rhythmical line of trees below. They seemed to be well named after the Roman Goddess of wisdom, justice law and victory because they loom and protect majestically over the grasslands and township below
