Converging Paths was exhibited at First Street Gallery, New York, NY; in Barber's first one-person show in 1992, all landscape paintings. Barber's first solo show was reviewed in the New York Times, by art critic Holland Cotter. Converging Paths was selected along with other paintings, by the Art in Embassies Program, United States Department of State, for a year-long exhibition at the United States Embassy in Nicosia, Cyprus.
