Fred is one of the largest males on the Mara North Conservancy (and was friends with the late great Hugo). The colour palette I have used for Fred is based on the colours of the morning light on the Mara. We sometimes associate Africa with having hot red and orange colours but an early morning drive on the Mara gives a surprisingly muted and cool pallet which matches Fred's cool, calm and collected personality.
