The two paintings of this series pick up on our emotional relationship with technological development. Will we soon form an emotional bond with drones and robot dogs in the same way we do with pets? At first glance, it seems absurd to have a drone on a leash or a remote-controlled, autonomous robot dog. And yet the leash symbolises our emotional involvement with these technologies and the bond we form as a result. And attachment always means the dependencies that arise from it.
