My talented watercolorist friend, Liz Vargas was painting along with the rest of us in the rain during the Augusta Plein Air event in 2018. Her red cart and black and white umbrella were compelling and added to the scene. I was just about to paint LIz in, when she took a break! It started raining pretty hard and the next thing I knew, Liz and all her equipment were gone, so she never made it into the painting! I guess there is such a thing as too much water for the watercolor painter!
