I used painted junk mail as a source for weaving textures into an Adirondack chair to create a calm focal point for the viewer. I also used journal pages, hemp rope, raffia and oil paint, and watercolor to create variety in the different plants. This piece reminded me of being a child and hiding between plant leaves while playing hide and seek. Don't we all just need a little time out in a beautiful garden jungle sometimes ?
