This painting is the story of my parents' marriage. Two people who were in love when they married each other, but, then.... They stayed married until my father died at age 91. In the end, there was forgiveness. I believe this is one of my best works. Emotional, intense, dynamic and powerful; an endless circle of frustration and despair. It is a wonderful combination of loose and flowing abstract brushwork and figurative work.
