This commission was a gift to celebrate my clients 60th birthday. My client wanted a colorful landscape with lots of red and distant hills. She was looking for a painting that would be bright, cheerful and peaceful. The collaboration was a joy to work on.

PROCESS:  Latham enjoys experimenting with a variety tools and viscosity of paint to discover the textures and shapes that reveal the landscape over time. An integral feature of her painting is the use of rich translucent colors to create depth and visual texture.
