Hemingway's Library Image: Inspired by a photo I snapped while touring the Iconic Key West home in 2020 this is one of my first attempts at an interior. While the room is now ruled by 6-toed felines, during the years of 1931-1939 it was the place that American author, Ernest Hemingway wrote some of his best-received books. These include the non-fiction work Green Hills of Africa (1935), the 1936 short stories "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" and "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber", and the novels To Have And Have Not (1937) and Islands in the Stream (1970). It is now a historic register sight and only viewable from a decorative iron gate.
