Part of a series called "Threads that Bind" that looks at the relationship of mother and daughter across time. The mother began to crochet as a child and did not stop until shortly before she dies at age 87. As her daughter, I did not learn her art. Instead I carried it along moves through several states until one day I decided to incorporate her art with mine. It feels like we speak when I work with it.
