Plein air painting the writers strike and capturing a pivotal time in the tech age for creatives

Holding the Line

Have you ever noticed the art on the walls in some of your favorite shows or movies? I was particularly noticing the really cool art in Shiv's Manhattan abode in Succession, it was contemporary yet classical just like she is. Art is used to help define the characters and also enhance the mood and tone of a narrative. That being said, I am really excited to tell you that I have signed with Off the Walls Studio Gallery, LA's premiere collection of cleared art for the entertainment industry! Unfortunately it is also another small business that has been impacted by the writers strike and why we have collaborated on an exciting way to bring awareness and some help through art. I have been painting out in the streets capturing yet another pivotal moment in the tech age. Standing on the front lines with these talented and enthusiastic people I can really feel the energy and the passion they exude and hear the sounds that this whole town is giving them. I have conjured that energy into action by offering a poster series that will benefit THE ENTERTAINMENT COMMUNITY FUND. For only $30 you can purchase a fine art print of the strike and half of that goes to helping anyone in need that is affected by the strike through this fund. click here to view my portfolio page of this ongoing series and see some behind the scenes footage.
