Abstract painting.
A rounded, vaguely globe-like shape dominates the center and takes up most of the canvas. The shape is a muted, grayish-blue, with areas of lighter and darker tones that suggest texture and depth and use of impasto.
On top of the rounded shape, there are several soft, light peach/orange colored, cloud-like forms, seeming to float against the backdrop. These forms are not sharply defined, with blurred edges. They are attached (or extend) outward from the sphere-like shape.
There are similar light peach/orange colored shapes at the top and sides, seemingly suggesting clouds.
A dark, rectangular shape, resembling a window or opening, is situated centrally on the surface of the rounded shape. The surrounding painting texture suggests either a layered effect or a building’s wall/structure.
A pale pinkish-tan color is visible near the edges of the painting at the top and bottom.
The colors are generally soft and diffused, with a noticeable interplay of various shades. The brushstrokes are quite visible, lending a sense of expressionism or impressionism to the work. The overall effect is a somewhat dreamlike and ethereal representation, like a surreal vision of a planet.
