Remember the Children - April 2022
Bucha, Mariupol, Sumi, Kramatorsk, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Vinnytsia...
UNICEF advised that by August of 2022 at least 972 children in Ukraine had been killed or seriously injured primarily by explosive weapons of war; but they believe the true number to be much higher.
On average over five children have been killed or injured each and every day since this war began. This doesn't include children who have been separated from their families, exposed to horrific events, violence and exploitation while fleeing the war.
To date, 1 in 10 schools in Ukraine have been destroyed or damaged.
"But more than anything, Ukraine's children need peace."
