The PARISIAN is an elegant series of paintings layered on and in applications of resin on a 9” x 3” glass tile. Each layer was inspired by the sumptuous cafes, theaters, galleries and architectural elements and epochs that make Paris such a beautiful and sophisticated city.

This is a one-of-a-kind original.

It starts with a fine clear glass tile, with a snow white backing that allows light inside to refract and play with the media. I used acrylic paints, mica and alcohol inks laid over multiple layers of crystal clear resin. The overall effect is of depth and layers - like looking into an artesian spring.

Finally, the painting was sealed in archival epoxy resin that intensifies the way that light reflects and refracts through this art.
And it is ready to hang using 3M Command strips which are included.
