Guest artist Liz Morton recently spent three days at Croatan High School leading a textured abstract painting workshop sponsored by the Arts Council of Carteret County with Mr. Stouffer's upper level visual art students. During her three days she provided great examples of art history relating to abstract art, shared new techniques and mediums, allowed students the opportunity to try new ways of thinking in creating art and took many students out of their artistic comfort zones which allowed them to grow as artists! A great three days of artistic learning!
