Carolina Artist Gallery (CAG) in Morehead City, NC is representing their newest painter, Liz Morton. Liz was juried into CAG in June 2020 and her work is currently featured in the gallery. Liz is an artist who is elevating color and advancing the cosmological feel of painting. Her mixed media and watercolor paintings fuse and evolve painting and abstraction, fostering a whole new language of color movement from transparent to opaque appearing as stretched organic matter.
Founded in 1999, the co-op provides a professional gallery where artists can meet, show their work, hold classes and, promote the arts in this coastal community. The Gallery enjoys a steady stream of visitors, vacationers, and local residents that purchase art and gifts as well as providing inspiration to nonmember artists who frequently stop by.
CAG is the largest, constant physical art gallery in Carteret County and most likely the first “art museum” experience very young members of our community have ever seen. “We Bring Art to Life and Life to Art!" Liz is ecstatic to be a working member of CAG!
