At 40 by 30 inches, this piece uses layers of acrylic, watercolor crayons, charcoal, and graphite to create a surface alive with movement and depth. Soft blues and whites mingle with hints of green, yellow, and red, forming an abstract landscape that feels both open and intimate. Inspired by the lyrical reflection in Joni Mitchell’s *Both Sides Now*, this work explores how moments of calm can hold a quiet rhythm and unexpected energy. Creating *Tidal Pools* was a process of embracing texture and color in a way that feels alive—inviting you to lose yourself in its fluid, ever-changing harmony.
