The colouring in these works is heavily influenced by my visit to the Hundertwasswer centre in Whangarei and through exploring his love for colour, design and nature.
'Lacuna' .. The little gaps in leaf and plant cells.
Giving a sensual experience as well as a visual one, through form, surface and shadow, reminiscent of a dappled forest.
