"Telescape" by Tom and Jean Latka, 1998; large rectangular wall sculpture; background made of 11 1/2" square ceramic tiles; some placed diagonally, some squarely; colors are a mottled terra cotta color; large triangular field of light blue square tiles in upper right; large triangular field of dark black/red tones on heavily textured ceramic at bottom center; 2 diagonal bands of ribbed ceramic form in grey/red & grey/blue tones rising from bottom to center; 2 diamond-shaped areas, one large and one small, with curved hollow rectangular ceramic tubes & a round raised center filled with fused blue-green glass, are in the center and to the left side of the piece. NOTE - artwork based off small maquette, or artist's sample in Littleton Museum collections, GENL-1998.033.0002.
