I was doing research for a theatre production which took place in colonial Australia. so...off I went into doing research about the Australian Aborigines. I fell in love with their visual language and art forms and the concept of Song Lines. The relationship with all of Creation.. the land,...the sky...ancestors...everything. And it really had an impact on my work. I received visions of paintings fully formed in my head. It was inspiring but many I forgot before I could get them down. I would scribble on a piece of paper and then later couldn't figure out what I saw. This piece comes from that. Not sure my frame size and weight are correct so will update .
