This figure seems to almost ghost into view, leaving parts of herself to fade into sketchy topographical lines. It is as if her attention is creating her reality. She does not notice the drips of oil or circular marks suspended in rich reds that float around her. All that matters to her is held in her hands, invisible. What if our thoughts had sounds and colors. If we cease to remember something, would it disappear?
