This beautiful heron was at the docks in Langley, Washington on Whidbey Island. By coincidence I grabbed this substrate I was using as a practice piece for my large artwork, which has my photo of an old dock in Langley. Like magic!
The original 11x14 art has cardboard, old book pages, vintage letters and a photo of a dock in Langley that I was lucky to get a picture of...there are just pilings left, however the memory lives on with this cool heron:)
