The awesome thing that happened with the original Captain Nielsen artwork is a gentleman who worked on the boat itself years ago found this art on Etsy and bought the original art! It brought back so many memories for him and he loved the art. It's so cool when someone connects with your art.....or with any artists' work!
Captain Nielsen had so much character! I found the boat at the docks Warrington, on the coast of Oregon in the US. It was one of the first mixed media collages that I made in 2013. The original artwork has vintage magazine papers, nautical charts and unique elements.
