Head down to the Calgary Stampede (BMO Centre - Halls A,E &D) and you will find 11 pieces of my Watercolour Artwork. Some in the Mini Masters section and some in the Juried Gallery. I will be there doing an Art Demo on Saturday 6th from 3-5.
The Mountains have music if you listen to them... Linnea’s work is in the form of contemporary landscapes, snapshot details of nature. Exploring unseen ideas of seismic and the grandiose power of the Mountains. Studying the formations, snow patterns and tones of the mountains leads Linnea on her journey of painting. . She uses the attributes of Watercolour, boldness of colour and the play on depth with slight transitions of colours to add complexity within the surface of her paintings creating an illusion of deep perspective; stirring a memory or an emotion for the viewer. Carefully building layers upon layers of depth with transitions of slight sodalities, her work will emerge each time you study it.
