This large pastel of Star Mountain, ranch country between the frontier towns of Balmorhea and Fort Davis, Texas is one of three paintings of mine hanging in the 37th annual Trappings of Texas invitational exhibit and sale. This premier event offers fine contemporary western art (and landscapes!) and cowboy gear.
The Museum, on the Sul Ross University campus, is open Tues-Sun for a nominal admission fee.
