Hi, y’all. I’m "Hari Javelina". Lindy did this spirited 4" x 4" varnished watercolor portrait to show off the best side of my snorting, surly personality and my sweet pink snout and tiny hooved feet.
Let me warn you, I will challenge anyone who dares smooth down my wiry coat. I rolled in sparkling colored dust to make my bristles stand up like this. It’s a good look for me, don’t you think? (I mean, seriously, I seldom have a bad hair day.)
What’s my favorite food? Food.
What’s my hobby? Food! I’ve never met food I didn’t like!
What’s that musky smell, you ask?
Now you’re just being rude.
No glass is needed to protect this, allowing my metallic colors to shine brightly in any setting. As you gaze upon my likeness, you might feel the need to hug me. Go ahead and touch. The board and varnish make me immensely touchable. I’d make a delightful addition to your space, bringing a touch of whimsy and a hint of wildness to your walls. I only wish you could smell me now.
