This mural is a temporary offering to Spruce Pine, NC—created in the wake of Hurricane Helene’s destruction. As buildings and businesses are being restored, this piece and a few others serve as markers of resilience and beauty in this transition time. Though these pieces life may be shorter than most, this painting is part of the healing process and I think that is what art is all about.
