The reference photo for this painting were taken at the Pickin Patch in Dunellon Florida. I try to go every year to take reference shots for future paintings. When I took these photos I knew this was something I would have to paint. I love this little watercolor and I am thinking of also doing a large painting of this in oil. This little watercolor takes me right to Halloween, and going out into the patch to pick out my perfect pumpkin. Lovely childhood memories are inspired by this painting.
